“Zoom Out” gives users the ability to broaden the perspective of any image. The power of zoom is indeed more than just enlarging an image.

Today, I will share the trick of using the “Custom Zoom” feature to create impressive mockups with the new image editor that match your design. The content will be broken down into two parts

  • Part One: What is a Web Editor

  • Part Two: Creating Mock-up for Print on Demand Products

Part One: What is a Web Editor

The new web editor is a unified editor view that combines features including reframe/repaint/vary region/pan/zoom with a simplified interface

  • 🎨 Usage: Users can simultaneously drag borders, utilize a brush tool, andchange the aspect ratio of the image on the canvas.

  • 🚀 Improve Workflow: The editor streamlines the process by enabling users to perform several editing tasks at once, enhancing their workflow.

  • 🖼️ Supported Images: Initially, the editor will only support editing images generated by Midjourney

With the Editor, you can

  • Repaint ( Erase/ Restore)Select and unselect the parts you want to edit and regenerate. This allows users to remove unwanted objects or fill in missing parts which works similarly as inpainting.

  • Return Action and Reset: Undo the action and reset to the original image

  • Scale: Scale is for zooming out images

  • Aspect Ratio: Select the aspect ratio for your new image.

  • Edit Prompt: Remix and edit your prompt to generate a new image

2. Seamless Pattern on Print-On-Demand Products

Let’s look at another example of creating a seamless pattern. When creating a pattern, you will need to use the “--tile" parameter. These images are tiled, so they can be repeated to give a consistent look to a sizeable area.

Similarly, start by creating a pattern. Pick the one you like and open the image editor.

Prompt: Seamless pattern design, Japanese flowers and plants pattern, alcohol ink texture, dreamy pastel pink color with gold line --tile

Floral Pattern
