“Isometric Letters” can create eye-catching and modern wall art and decor pieces like large 3D isometric letters spelling out words, quotes or names on a wall.
Previously, I shared the Top 20 prompts for creating beautiful isometric letters. Today, I’m excited to present part two!
This time, I would love to show you how to use Midjounrey V6's latest new feature “Style References” to design a collection of letters that sells!
What is Style References
Midjourney V6 has just introduced an exciting new feature — The “Style References” feature that allows you to replicate a style and maintain the aesthetic easily.
Features
Functionality: Work similar to image prompts where you give a URL to one or more images that ‘describe’ the consistent style you want to work over.
Use: Type --sref after your text prompt, followed by URLs to one or more style reference images like this: --sref urlA urlB urlC
Format: /imagine text prompt --sref stylePrompt1 stylePrompt2
Goal: Create output matching the provided aesthetics
Compatibility: Works for both V6 and Niji V6 ( Not work with V5 etc)
The article today will be broken down into three sections
Section One: How to Use Style References to Create Beautiful Isometric Letters
Section Two: Create a Mockup that Sells
Section Three: Print-on-Demand Opportunities
Section One: How to Use Style References to Create Beautiful Isometric Letters
In this section, I will go through the tips and tricks to use “Style References” to create a beautiful collection with a consistent style.
1. Basic Way
First, the basic way to use “Style References” to influence the aesthetic of your letter is to infuse a reference image.
We can do that by adding --sref URL to the end of your prompt
An example will be like this
Isometric Letter “A” --sref url
2. Multiple References
You can also use more than one reference and add text description for a more accurate style that you are looking for.
Like this one below, I added “surrounded by flowers” together with 3 style references
Isometric Letter “A” surrounded by flowers --sref urlA urlB urlC
⭐️ You can also make further customization like using prompt weights “::” and setting stylization strength with “--sw”Learn more here where I provide an in-depth guide and tips to master “Style References”
3. Style References for A Consistent Style
Another way to use Style Reference is to create an image for reference first. Let’s see a step-by-step guide here:
Step 1: Generate an isometric letter
I create a floral “A” letter reference art piece with Midjourney.
Floral
A floral letter “A”, isometric design, dreamy pastel color, roses and leaves, soft pink and gold background
Step 2: Use it as a reference to create a Consistent Set
Next, I prompted additional letters in the alphabet using the floral “A” as my Style Reference. Midjourney will automatically match the color scheme, lighting, textures, and 3D geometry.

Just look how consistent the letters turned out!
Image Upscale
Next, to ensure quality and clarity for different uses and printing, it’s essential to increase the size of our AI images.
Luckily, there are fantastic AI-powered solutions that can intelligently upscale your images while preserving or even enhancing details.
1. BigJPG
This web app leverages AI to enlarge images by up to 800% while retaining sharpness. Ideal for upscaling AI art for print or digital use.
2. Gigapixel AI
Standalone software that uses AI to supersize images for big prints or zooming in while avoiding artifacts.

Section Two: Create a Mockup that Sells
Next, you will need to create a mockup that sells. You can do this with Midjourney with the “Custom Zoom” feature.
Step 1: Generate your alphabet (Let’s take the letters that I generated from above as an example)
Step 2: Pick your preferred image and upscale
Step 3: Select “Custom Zoom” and customize your prompt ( Note that it’s better to use V5.2 when using Custom Zoom.)
Step 4: Customise your prompt: A textbox will pop out and you can rewrite the prompt
📌 Note that this trick works better with V5.2
Here is the outcome
Section Three: Print-on-Demand Opportunities 💰🔥
Now you can turn this into patterned wall art, phone cases, pillows, and so much more. They can also be used to form large 3D isometric letters to spell out words, quotes, or names on a wall.
My Top Pick Platforms to Sell
Once you’ve generated eye-catching designs, print-on-demand services like Printful and Printify make it simple to start selling without investing in expensive equipment or materials.
Upload your art and have it printed on canvases, posters, and apparel like t-shirts, pillows, phone cases and more.
